About Me

Sarah Jones began her career in complementary therapies with an Aromatherapy course with Diane McGarry at Natural Healing, Wolverhampton in 1992. Her interest grew and then, fascinated with the effects of reflexology on her own body, she decided that an AOR accredited course with Phyllis Southam at Wolvey in Leicestershire would be her next qualification, which she passed in November 1994. Indian Head Massage followed in 1996.

She spent two years working at Natural Healing putting her therapies to very good use and then set up her own practice in 1997. Since then she has trained with Antony Porter to use advanced reflexology techniques (1999), which have revolutionised her reflexology treatment using a firm, more specific approach to give excellent results. She has also studied Hand Reflexology with Kristine Walker and Vertical Reflexology Techniques with Lynne Booth (2002).

Sarah has updated her aromatherapy qualification passing a Diploma course with the Purple Flame School, Warwickshire (2001), which is recognised by the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists. She is a member of the Association of Reflexologists (MAR) and International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists (MIFPA).

The practice has thrived up until recently based on aromatherapy, reflexology and Indian head massage, but Sarah felt her skills were lacking in remedial bodywork. She studied the Bowen Technique with the European College of Bowen Studies and gained her Certificate in 2004, which has opened up a new range of ailments to be conquered. She has added Hopi Ear Candling and Hot Stone Body treatments to the range of treatments on offer (2004).

Sarah is married and has two lovely sons, two cats, four goldfish and a hamster. She has many interests and very little time to pursue them, but appreciates theatre, travel, football, walking, reading and music.
